Panel 1: Overhead shot. Nolan fixes his gun on the Clown, and the Clown reaches into his costume for a water gun.
NOLAN: I'm afraid I'll have to shoot you in the throat if you so much as breathe in that boy's direction.
NOLAN: And if you think my own name scares me-
CLOWN: Poor little policeman ... still playing by their rules.
Panel 2: Clown runs at Nolan and fires his water gun which produces a strong stream of pale yellow acid.

Panel 1: Here we see Iola and the man sitting at the edge of the pond, cuddling and flirting and such.
IOLA: You know what I think?
MAN: Whaddo ya think?
IOLA: I think you should go in.
Panel 2: Close on the man smirking and nodding over towards the pond as if to say "no way".

Panel 1: Weeks after the attack on Bertoff and the Science Ministry, we see Bertoff standing in front of a large computer screen in an underground military bunker for strategic planning. There are two images on the board, one of a green brain with a blue flame burning through it, and another with an image of a futuristic military robot. These logos represent Plan A and Plan B. Blue Bolt looks at the screen. His helmet is off and he is wearing formal Deltos military attire. Bertoff's face is scarred from when he was sliced.
BOLT: How are the cuts?
BERTOFF: Well ...
BERTOFF: ... I'm here.
BOLT: Good.

ONE: Elsewhere
Somewhere and somewhen other, where nothing but nothing exists, a promise is crushed in the palm of temptation. A bond is broken. A story is spun, and a songstress ceases to sing.
Sometime ago, in a place with no name, a weapon is forged in the dark. By rancor it is wielded. By animus its wild, all-encompassing force is loosed upon your world. The air you breathe is pulverized.
Youve yet to feel a thing.
. . .
Instead, you drift, half-waking through a tunnel. Light is absent, aside from that allowed by a series

Panel 2: Cut back to today. Dash is now standing in front of the machine with his arms folded.
(MONO) DASH: Somehow, seeing it up close had scared me into a painfully vigilant agitation.
Panel 3: Same as panel 2, except the machine has turned on by itself. Images of the purported title screen are available online.

He appears cocky and brash, and unaffected by the graveness of the decision which he seems to have arrived at. He is sitting on a beautiful black leather couch in a modern mansion, with his feet up and is drinking something red from a tall glass. He is wearing a decorative red collar shirt and black pants. Untitled Synopsis for a Surge one-shot by Steve Geick.
CAP: Gunter, TX. Simpler times.
We open on the gridiron at Albert Earthmen High School. Football practice is being held, and a group of five players are positioned on their mark in front of a tackling sled. The jersey on the player in the middle is #55 and reads Price. Our hero lowers his shoulder and plants his feet, ready to unleash on the coachs command. The squad takes off, pushing the tackling sled downfield. Before we know it, Wilson is the only boy pushing the sled. His teammates stand entranced about thirty yards back. Let me write you a script for you to practice on!
I've been doing this for a while now, but about a week ago I started working with an artist on a superhero one-shot using golden age characters that have fallen into the public domain. It's been a blast, and I think the artist will have a lot of fun using the script to hone his sequential skills.
So I'd like to offer that same service to any artist that wants a script to practice on. Any length, and of course free of charge.
Go to [link] and choose any character you'd like me to write a story about. The characters listed on that site are in the public domain meaning anybody can use them. Th
Hi guys.
I'm Steve. I write comic book stories.
Although I've worked with a few great collaborators, they are never easy to come by. I'm lining up with the Overground Collective because they seem focused on combining the efforts of the various talents here on deviantart in order to put together some awesome work on a regular basis.
I also think writing material that is assigned to me will be an oddly refreshing break from working on stuff I created myself.
Looking forward to working with whoever it is I'll end up working with. :)
hi im very intrigued by the overground comics idea.its an awesome way for every one to each feel as important as the next.i was trying to find some issue's of the series.if you know anything please let me know.
